I agree that it sounds like BS. However, if Obama wants to claim that he deported 2 million people, it certainly makes it hard for the Democrats to make the case that Trump can’t deport the people he intends to deport.

I don’t know if Obama’s stats are manipulated, but this other article says Bush Jr. also did 2 million. So the overall point is, we’ve deported millions before. We know how to do it. Ramping it up and doubling or tripling the effort is far from impossible, the way FOX News, Kasick, Yeb and Rhubarb like to claim.
As of March 8 [2014], the Obama administration had deported 2,087,456 people since fiscal 2009, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement statistics.
By comparison, the U.S. deported 2,012,539 people under Bush; 869,646 people under President Bill Clinton; 141,326 under President George H.W. Bush; and 168,364 people under President Ronald Reagan, according to ICE statistics.
