I just heard a Cruz clip from the debate last night, he sounded very good on immigration, very very good. This is the first time I heard Cruz take a hard line on immigration. So I am thinking if Cruz continues to take a hard line he might be acceptable on this issue.

You must parse Cruz statements on immigration and how he defines such terms as amnesty. Cruz is a big supporter of increased foreign labor in the form of H-!B visa. Take a look at this clip:
