I don't believe they do. I have consistently asked supporters of the liberal leading the Republican field to name just one other liberal they trust and without exception they cannot do it. Honestly, I would probably have voted against the TPA if it was up to me. However, conservatives can make a good case either way on TPA unlike the TPP which Sen. Cruz has never supported and which would be a disaster. Thus it is a huge problem when posters confuse his vote on TPA with the upcoming vote on TPP.

Carson specifically said he met with the general on Memorial Day 1969. Memorial Day is in May. The general was in Washington DC on Memorial Day and it’s been verified through Army records. He was in Detroit 4 months earlier in February. Anyone as “smart” as Carson claims to be would know damn well if he had dinner with General Westmoreland on Memorial Day 1969, of all days! Carson is a liar! And the chicken”sh*t media is giving him a pass because of the color of his skin, the same way they would not call Obama a liar.

There is a record which shows that Westmoreland was in the area in February of that same year for a dinner honoring Medal of Honor Recipients. That would fit just fine with Carson’s recollection.
