One of the reasons I stopped watching O’Bloviator was that I grew tired of listening to him spout on and on about subjects he knew very little about.

The very title of the book, “Killing Reagan”, is suspect simply because no one killed Reagan. Perhaps it was BOR’s intention to kill him?

O’Reilly is just another monkey screwing a football.

Reagan was on TV enough, in those days, his dotage would have been easily detected by anyone, if he had it.

O’Reilly is an insufferable, loud mouth.

I don’t care for O’Reilly-but his books appear to have been very well researched.

I take it you haven't read or seen "Killing Jesus"? That has to be the worst, stupidest, most blasphemous piece of garbage that I've ever seen. BOR really thought he needed to set the gospels straight? He needs to read his Bible and get the real truth and believe it.

I did read it, and as a Catholic I don’t care for a lot of it, but the book does not claim to be religious in any way, but only the author’s take on what historical facts are available-and neither my faith in Jesus, nor my belief in His divinity depend on anyone’s version the history of that time-my faith is something that has been part of my life since I was old enough to pray.

I doubt that book has any relation to what the author(s) believe-like any book penned by a pompous ass, it is all about them-not the subject or the person in question.

Agree with all. Will can’t be a conservative if he’s an atheist — our rights come from our Creator. If he doesn’t believe in a Creator, then what? Yes, BOR *is* a bore, and a mean, cheating, violent worm who is lost without a teleprompter...and a lousy ghost writer for his sorry books.

Yes, Andrea Mackris, a producer on his show that BOR was attempting to seduce. She taped his phone calls to her — recall BOR saying he wanted to rub her p**** in the shower with a “falafel”...he meant a loofah.

I read “Killing Patton” and thought it was thin gruel. The book was filled with WW II stories about people who had nothing to do with Patton. The chapter that dealt with the General’s death did not contain any new information that had not been researched and printed near the time of Patton’s death.

Waste of time; fortunately it was a library book so it wasn’t a waste of money.

Seems to be off the Trump kick now that his wife’s employer Scott Walker is out.

Haven’t read the book yet...just sick of George Will. He is part of the problem, not the solution

Charlatans like Bill O’Reilly who write falsehoods and call it “history” are the lowest thieves of them all, for they steal the truth from our descendants.

I can’t take credit. A caller once asked Rush what he thought about BOR...Rush tried to deflect the question, but ultimately said “Let’s face it, he’s Ted Baxter.”

Will and O’Reilly deserve each other. Will is a beltway RINO, and O’Reilly is a loudmouthed moron.

Whatever one thinks of George Will, he thoroughly demolishes O'Reilly in this piece, and very deservedly so.

The claim that Reagan was mentally unfit for political office was made throughout his career; indeed, it began even before he became governor of California, when he, Olivia de Havilland and others stood up to The Independent Citizens' Committee of the Arts, Sciences and Professions, an outfit that included such commie luminaries as Gregory Peckery and Humphrey Pushcart.

In those days there were still loyal Americans in Hollywood, and Reagan became their go-to man for facts and arguments in opposition to the communist agenda. For this they attacked him as a dimwit and a hack.

That attack pursued him through the governor's office to the presidency and never let up; now, we have to hear this crap from a supposedly "traditionalist" populist, whose best-selling "historical" series is a complete joke.

Clarke Clifford referred to him as "an amiable dunce," refuting the common folk wisdom that it "takes one to know one." Of course, Clifford, like the Democrat Reagan predecessor he served was never the least bit amiable ... he was merely a dunce.

If Reagan was suffering from Alzheimer's Dementia while he served as President, Barack 0bama could stand to have a good strong dose of it. But of course he wasn't, and none of Reagan's successors have any excuse for the mess they've made of a once great country.

Rush summed Bill O'Reilly up correctly years ago: Ted Baxter is the model for his "professionalism," if not the charm.

There I was... this is like Brian Williams. Total BS. Another example— from “Killing Kennedy”

oh really says he was knocking on the door of Lee H.Oswald’s best friend, and heard this “friend” kill himself. Never happened- caught by the tape recording system of a House Select Committee on the Assassination investigator Gaeton Fonzi— to wit from Gaeton’s website:

“.....O’Reilly spins the story with third person modesty in Killing Kennedy (p. 300), calling himself “the reporter.” He wrote that he

“traced de Mohrenschildt to Palm Beach, Florida and travelled there to confront him. At the time de Mohrenschildt had been called to testify before a congressional committee looking into the events of November 1963. As the reporter knocked on the door of de Mohrenschildt’s daughter’s home, he heard the SHOTGUN blast [Emphasis added] that marked the suicide of the Russian, assuring that his relationship with Lee Harvey Oswald would never be fully understood.

“By the way, that reporter’s name is Bill O’Reilly.”

It’s a vivid story and well told. It’s also mostly imaginary. In fact, the reporter named Bill O’Reilly was in Dallas, Texas, on that day........”

Exactly! What our history WAS before the libtards got their mitts into it, is NOT was it IS today...

I don’t like Bill, but I don’t like George Will even more...

I read ‘The Killing of Lincoln’ and it sounded pretty right...but I’m sure this isn’t the history we were taught when we went to school....

I’ve been reading about Patton since I was a kid-one of my favorite historical military leaders, right up there with Julius Caesar-I was also hoping there would be new info on Patton’s death in BOR’s book, but it wasn’t there at all-it had already been written about, or on some recent program on H2.

Any time two leftists tear each other to shreds, it makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

And those two going at it is something to encourage. Often. With vigor.

O’Reilly went to second tier Marist College, which he never mentions. He prefers to give the impression that he’s a Harvard graduate by mentioning ad nauseum a brief stint at Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government when he was in his mid 40s, which his then employer, CBS News, paid for.

Will went to the far more elite Trinity College, and then on to Oxford and Princeton.

Will can run circles around O’Reilly in terms of intellect and seriousness. It’s not even close.

As recently as a few years ago, O’Reilly got caught puffing up his resume by falsely claiming he was present at the suicide of a purported material witness to certain activities surrounding the Kennedy assassination. Once caught in the lie, he went silent on the subject.

The no spin zoner spins when he wants to.
