Trump told a crowd in Springfield, Illinois, on Monday. "If I become president, we're all going to be saying Merry Christmas again, that I can tell you. That I can tell you."

I wasn't aware that people had stopped saying "Merry Christmas." I hear it all the time during Christmas season. I say it myself.

Is Trump going to sign an Executive Order requiring us to say "Merry Christmas"?

If the President supports and says “Merry Christmas” it will put a stop to hundreds/thousands of companies telling their employees they must say “Happy Holidays” or some such instead of “Merry Christmas.”

That was policy from the top at the library before I retired. You may NOT say Merry Christmas because you might offend someone.

Perhaps you haven’t noticed that most employees in businesses from restaurants to banks do not say Merry Christmas to you.
