The Marco Rubio campaign is making the most out of the blockbuster story in today's New York Times about the Jeb Bush campaign about to go nuclear on Rubio.
Specifically, Right to Rise, Bush's super PAC, is apparently ready to spend $20 million in attacking Rubio. "Part of running for president is you have to put your big boy pants on and get vetted on the issues, so we know we don't have a dud candidate running against Hillary Clinton," Right to Rise chief strategist Mike Murphy told the Times.
Forget whether the strategy makes any sense - who could have predicted earlier this year that this would be happening? But it is. Rubio is doing better than Bush in the polls, in some cases by a few points, in other polls by as much as 10 points. More importantly, they're going in opposite directions. Rubio is increasingly being described as a very real legitimate general election candidate, and Bush is being derided as yesterday's news.

Since this is a Bush super PAC, they should change its name from “Right to Rise” to “Entitled to Rise”...that would be much more appropriate.
Stay out da Amnesty & Open-Border Bushes!

I’d hate to think what they’d be doing to each other if they weren’t best friends.

Here’s an idea... how about the Right go nuclear on Hillary? I realize for today’s GOP, that’s out-of-the-box thinking, but perhaps something to consider.

Ah.. the “Right to Rise” PAC, not the Right.
Never mind... Go for it, Jebbie. Of course, it’ll blow up in your face.

The interesting part of these debates for me is that deer in the headlights look Bush gets when he’s saying to himself, “I wish I’d said that.” And he gets that look a lot.

This is just another stupid rino ploy. GOPe can not get the base to back Jeb so they have him attack the other rino they control calling him too conservative in hopes the base is so stupid that they do not look at his record and words and back him.
The GOPe has lost its playbook and are getting desperate. The base no longer gets its news from the media they hate, so the GOPe has not been able to do their usual dump a nasty story on a conservative and have them weeded out. The left is so over the top corrupt and evil that these stupid double standard stories about conservatives are just making the base mad.
Psychological manipulation of the base is the game.

What BS!
Methinks Mike Murphy has taken a page from Kardashian PR strategy.

Attack Hillary...?
Why?
No one at Jeb’s PAC wants to actually HELP Jeb’s poll numbers, does he?

In 1994 Michael Huffington spent $28 million just in California on a Senate campaign. That would be well over $50 million today.
If the PAC poured that kind of money into Iowa or New Hampshire, it would likely be counterproductive, just like Linda McMahon's huge expenditures in Connecticut were counterproductive.
They MIGHT focus on Florida, hoping a Bush win there would give him a huge boost. I don't see Bush winning Florida. All of those retired New Yorkers will take a Trump first.
My conclusion is that they have gone M.A.D. (Mutually Assured Destruction). That is, damage Rubio so that the Establishment have no other options (assuming they don't try Kasich or Christie, who have weak organizations and little time, and similar levels of support).
This campaign is likely Giuliani II without the cross-dressing.

The Cheap Labor Express is getting very nervous.
This is not going at all like they planned.
Seems the citizens don’t want to give up their country.

The problem with these ads will be trying to separate out Bush from Rubio, since they are basically identical.
