Dr. Ben Carson...told a prominent group of Latino elected officials that he also supports giving illegal immigrants a path to legalization and eventual citizenship.
Addressing the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials (NALEO) in Nevada...
He added that, "as a compassionate nation, we should be asking what can we do to help the people in nations who feel that they don't have an opportunity." He cited Cameroon as an example where American companies are helping to develop land to produce produce, which benefits those in Cameroon who need jobs in addition to the American companies.
Regarding the country's illegal immigrants, Carson said, "many of them have never known any other country … so where are you going to send them?"
Carson said the country must "provide them a way so that they don't have to hide in the shadows" and "give them an opportunity to become guest-workers–they have to register, they have to enroll in a back tax program."
"And if they want to become citizens they have to get in the line with everyone else… because we have to pay homage to people who've done it the right way," Carson added.
He also told the audience that "what threatens to destroy is division" and blasted the "purveyors of division" who try to divide Americans based on race, age, income and a host of other issues...

Should we help people who feel that they don’t have an opportunity if that reduces the opportunity of citizens in America? And what’s with the ‘who feel’?
“Yes, let’s rally because the big bad media is after him. Media is irrelevant. It’s Carson’s policies that are bad. People need to get over the ‘he is a nice guy’ and evaluate him based on policies and relevant experience. The ones who want to keep him in the race because it helps ‘their’ guy are the worst, IMO. Too much at stake.”

We even have a few Bill Clinton supporters here in the past week. Most of the FReeper accounts have been dormant for years, which gives them away. Carson needs to go away, but I fear he will throw his votes to whoever Rove and the Chamber tell him to.

It's some magic trick to "misrepresent" a candidate by quoting their own speech. How does one do that?
Tell Limbaugh that. He has been spending days helping Carson.

I was wondering about that. I checked some of these accounts and they were quite old so I assumed they were legitimate; however, I didn’t think to check their posting history to catch what you did.
Is there some way for 3rd parties to “mine” old FR accounts and hijack them?
So it’s not only the new accounts that are trolls, but old accounts, too?

Some “conservatives” are less committed to the cause than others.

Cruz has come around to using the “Deport” word in his most recent speeches. Prior to that he always just said to seal the border and enforce the law.
With Carson’s support of amnesty, gun control, TPP and Puerto Rican statehood, he should already be running against Hillary...in the Democrat Primary.
Keep in mind Carson gave this speech in June. This article is literally from 2 days after Trump announced his campaign. So I think this went unnoticed at the time given everyone was talking about Trump and I don’t think Carson was more than a blip in the polls at that time.
So unless this article gets virally spread around Carson’s position here might go unnoticed. I know Trump has been saying Carson is weak on immigration but I’m not sure how specific the sources were that Trump was citing.
