Sounds like he would've been on board with the Gang of 8.

Maybe Carson could just switch back to his old party and quit embarrassing serious republicans.

Carson:
Carson has also said the United States should model its immigration reform after Canada's guest-worker program. “People already here illegally could apply for guest-worker status from outside of the country,” Carson wrote in November. “This means they would have to leave first.”

FReepers refuse to do research as a rule. If you bother to research Carson, you will become ill quickly.

Maybe the supposed “conservatives” around here should quit using the Leftist slander and smear debate tactics and try making the case FOR their candidate instead.

also told the audience that "what threatens to destroy is division" and blasted the "purveyors of division" who try to divide Americans based on race, age, income and a host of other issues... And if he had specified Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. the same people whining about it on this thread would of been cheering him

Yes, let’s rally because the big bad media is after him.
Media is irrelevant. It’s Carson’s policies that are bad. People need to get over the ‘he is a nice guy’ and evaluate him based on policies and relevant experience. The ones who want to keep him in the race because it helps ‘their’ guy are the worst, IMO. Too much at stake.
To: JediJones
Carson said that âwe do have an illegal immigration problem that would be solved if we sealed the borders and cease the benefitsâ so that âpeople wouldnât see a reason to come here.â Want to explain why you left this statement out of your thread header?

I checked out his 1990 book on Amazon. You know those complementary reviews they put on covers? Two of them were telling....rave reviews from Ebony and from Jesse Jackson.
That tells me an awful lot of what I need to know, if he'd use Jesse Jackson for praise. I don't know anything about Ebony's journalistic standards, then or now, but it's not a source of praise that would encourage me to read the book. Why? IIt tells me it's not meant to appeal to the general population.

Context is everything. When you say that to a Latino group in an immigration discussion, he’s suddenly suggesting that it’s racist to want to enforce our border with Mexico. That simply reinforces the Democrat talking points.

This, among other issues, is why I believe Carson will throw his support to Rubio.
