Just how loaded is the phrase "gun control" to Americans?

A new Quinnipiac University poll would suggest that the word "control" makes a difference in whether Americans support stricter gun laws. Pollsters asked half of respondents whether they'd support "stricter gun control laws" and the other half whether they'd support "stricter gun laws."

The group that heard the word "control" was less likely to support tighter gun laws.

Oh that is true. They are so transparent too. I remember it was Global Warming but then we had such horrible winters that they changed it to climate change because they were looking foolish. I have to admit I wish we fought as much as they do. Instead of abortion or killing babies......we are ending human life people? do you know that? That might help get even more on our side. Liberals love the phrase “Killing human life”.

In a nutshell, the bible does not prohibit killing, or even the killing of human life. It prohibits the killing of innocent human life, which allows for just wars, capital punishment and self defense. This single misrepresentation from the left (thinking they are using the bible against the conservative right) that all killing is immoral is just simply wrong in any biblical context.

So if your favorite lib claims you shouldn’t want guns or war or even self defense if you are against abortion you now know how to totally undermine their argument in their misrepresentation of the bible.

The new formulation appears to be “Gun Safety Laws” as if prohibition were going to make everyone safe. New lies for old. They never change.
