I don’t think age matters that much when people are just nuts to start with. I started reading Willie Nelson’s autobiography recently, and he started off by gushing about the glory days of the Jimmy Carter administration.
Well, that’s true I guess. My only criteria in even considering what someone says about a modern-times Presidency is that they have lived through it as someone who is a working adult.
I love Willie’s guitar picking and I love listening to the Red Headed Stranger album AND his Stardust album but when it comes to dealing with reality Willie ain’t never been hittin’ on too much. I remember when he was laughing about how he started out picking cotton in Lubbock, Texas and wound up owing the IRS six million dollars after his financial manager apparently put the screws to him.
