“Exaggerating about oneâs income or success in business is pretty common, but exaggerating about being violent and antisocial is unusual.”
Are you kidding? Saul of Tarsus — the wicked slayer of Christians who was miraculously converted. Now known as the Apostle Paul.
Sergeant York — the rough, godless drunk who was miraculously converted.
This is what Christianity is all about.

I have no idea what you are talking about. my guess is that you don't know people that well. Out of the hundreds of CEOs and doctors I've met socially and in business, I only met one that mentioned being violent as a youth, but nearly all of them exaggerated their income and business experience.

Oh, now I figured out what you meant. I don’t think Saul or Alvin York were exaggerrating. Do you think they were? I’m talking about exaggerating here. People tend to always exaggerate their “good” qualities, but sweep their “bad’ qualities under the rug and the rarely exaggerate them unless their job revolves around being perceived as a badass. Usually that is not the case with doctors or CEOs.
