Except Trump lied about his net worth in filing as a presidential candidate and went on to Forbes as an “incompetent” bankrupt” magazine for “embarrassing” him because 4 billion looked so much worse to the American people than 10 billion. If that is what he is counting on the voters are going to judge this election on, I’m even more unimpressed than before. All billionaires lie about their wealth, Donald Trump just does it more than most, which could easily spill over into the political arena by exaggerating results of a program or policy as president.
I personally have no clue about how much wealth Trump really has, neither do you nor Forbes magazine. Trump has stated that about twenty years ago, he was billions of dollars in debt and it wasn’t fun being Donald Trump at the time. He got out from under it, which is more than any of his financial detractors have accomplished.
