Muslims want to kill you.

And you-all just want to obliterate Jews by absorbing them into your collectivity, just like the Borg. Same thing, spiritually.

We have our own brand of "the L-rd's salvation", and therefore we do not require any other religion's version of it. We do not believe that J.C. was any sort of savior, Jewish or not. Therefore, we are still waiting for OUR Messiah. But thanks for the good thoughts.

What Christians (and God) want to see obliterated is pride.

Therefore, we are still waiting for OUR Messiah. .................... Errrrr? Things were bad during the Roman Empire for Jews, that’s when Jesus appeared. Maybe I can understand why they may have thought of him as a messiah back then. I guess things weren’t bad enough for most Jews of the time to accept him, thinking things might get worse in the future? Come 1942, things really got worse, how much worse than 6 million Jewish lives in the course of 3 years? What was the messiah doing, was he tied up in a conference with God? If you are still waiting for the messiah what is it going to take to get his attention 12 million? The more I think about it, the ancients had it right, the Sun is God, without it, there is no man kind. Messiahs and Mahdis come and go, if you ask some folks, they’ll tell you, we even elected one.

To be clear, I don’t want to obliterate Jews, Jewish culture, Jewish tradition. Jewish history is fundamental to having some understanding of who the Creator is and what His purposes are for us.

If it were up to me, I’d have Christians drop all their holidays and instead embrace Jewish festivals. They’re a much richer way to reflect on the enduring love of G-d. After all, Jesus wasn’t a Christian; he was Jewish.
