Missouri's black football players announced Saturday night that they no longer will participate in football activities until university president Tim Wolfe either resigns or is removed from his post.
These Tigers started their protest on the heels of increased racial tensions that have bubbled up on Missouri's campus, most recently involving an incident on Oct. 24 when a swastika carved with smeared feces was put up on the wall of a new dormitory.
Sophomore defensive back Anthony Sherrils tweeted out the following statement along with a picture of Missouri's black players standing together, arms linked.
"The athletes of color on the University of Missouri football team truly believe 'Injustice Anywhere is a threat to Justice Everywhere.' We will no longer participate in any football related activities until President Tim Wolfe resigns or is removed due to his negligence toward marginalized students' experiences. WE ARE UNITED!!!!!"

How long before they discover the feces smeared swastika was done by one of their black students? Most likely, somebody who would never make it on the team, so he wants to ruin it for everybody else too.
99 out of 100 times, these things are false-flag.
They seem to think that if you just remove this one single guy....bring in some new fresh guy...that all racism on the campus will disappear overnight. I believe you are observing the epic demonstration of stupidity at the ninth-degree, and I would question how any of these nitwits were allowed to enter college in the first place.
Relieve them from the team, and their scholarship obligations....let them figure out how they pay for the college classes. I might also suggest a random drug test to see how many are ‘weeded-up’.
Maybe the president doesn’t demonstrate ‘enough sorrow’ for the racist events said to have occurred on campus. Even if he stood on stage, cut his hair off, screamed for mercy, then ripped off his dress shirt, burned the shirt, then smeared a tar-feather mixture on his torso, this wouldn’t be ‘enough sorrow’ to please some folks who delight in humbling any authority figure. I hope he ignores them after conducting some sort of ‘investigation’.
See how much solidarity there is when scholarships start to disappear. They are all in violation of their contract with the university.
Exactly. You don’t want to play football, there’s no reason for you to be there. Recently post teenage football thugs don’t fire university presidents. At least in a sane world. Maybe the coach.

Cool, if they’d just pack their bags and leave, half the felons amongst the student body would be gone and no longer a problem on campus. The other half play basketball.
I wonder how many of them are there on football scholarships? Doesn't a football scholarship require that you show up and participate in practice and games? They may soon be faced with three choices: (a)paying regular tuition like a regular schlep, (b)leaving campus, (c)playing football. Which will it be?
You know what it will be. The college will cave.
The solution to this problem is simple and obvious: throw them all off the team and revoke any scholarships that might be tied to playing college football.

That’s what I want to know. And what the hell does this swastika have to do with the black athletes? And how do they know the president isn’t doing something? First of all he’s going to have the campus LEO’s investigate, and they can’t shake the magic 8 ball and get the name of the perp. And what if it’s one of the black players?

Racial tension has been brewing at Missouri's campus in Columbia since September, when Payton Head, the Missouri Students Association president and an African-American, said he was racially abused while walking. Students protested when it took nearly a week for the university chancellor to address the incident.
Then in October, a student yelled the N-word at members of the Legion of Black Collegians in a campus plaza while they were rehearsing for a play.
The university downplayed the incident, and more backlash toward administrators ensued -- with Wolfe enduring the most. Wolfe met with Butler and student groups on Friday to discuss the university's handling of racial harassment cases.
Jonathan Butler, a Missouri grad student, began a hunger strike against Wolfe on Monday, saying Wolfe has failed to respond to student concerns. A change.org petition to remove Wolfe from office has over 2,000 supporters.
Now, the Tigers football team is involved.
