Advertising is a key component of the American free enterprise system of unprecedented wealth. Making consumers familiar with products and services that benefit both the buyer and the producer is a concept foreign to godless communism. In short, advertising is educational and keeps the economy robust.
Oh yes, I have nothing against advertising but I was just wondering what those clickbait sites where all about. They have you click on a link to see a list for say “fattest people of all time” and they list each one on a separate page instead of listing it on one page. Why do they do that? I don’t understand how that benefits them as people aren’t going to bother to go to every single page and wait for 900 ads to load on each one.
True, but too much clickbait are not mere advertising, but intrusive data mining or worse (viruses). That's what people fear, not the advertisement.
