Politico is firing back at Donald Trump, who called the publication âone of the most dishonest organizations Iâve ever dealt with.â oliticoâs co-founder and CEO, Jim VandeHei, told Breitbart through email that he appreciates Trumpâs âvery intense interest in our publication.â VandeHei added, âHe should: Our journalism and journalists are amazing, unbelievably fabulous. Total winners.

You are naive about Carson, as you will soon find out.
Elsie and her friends are dead on.
Carson was I'm certain talked up, and told of all the things he might do at West Point.
And in 1969, with political correctness being a new phenomenon, he WOULD have been a great candidate.
The big-wigs at the time would have told him how they would LOVE having him.
But Carson never made it some "secret" that he always wanted to be a doctor.
And he went to Yale.
He saw no reason to go military, when that's not what his ultimate goal was.
But like anyone, it's nice to be asked, or encouraged to attend West Point.
And you bet that a free ride sounded good.
So he did have a reason to boast about that.
I put this in the same realm as a baseball prospect being offered a place in the minor leagues (Son, you'll be pitching in Yankee Stadium in a few years!), but turning it down to finish college first.
Who WOULDN'T be "flattered" by such an offer?
It makes a great story to tell.
Nothing dishonest about it.
I see this as much ado about nothing. Just a liberal smear that FReepers should know better than to lap up.
Go ahead and not support Carson for whatever reasons, but please stop being a dupe who believes what the leftist media conjures up.
BINGO
“You are naive about Carson, as you will soon find out.”
You are naïve about Trump, as you will find out if he is president.
I’m not voting for Carson but truth is truth and he did not lie.
“Iâm not voting for Carson but truth is truth and he did not lie.”
You don’t know that at all, and there is proof otherwise, lol. As I said, you are naive.
The mistake Carson made is telling the same West Point Scholarship Story to Charlie Rose in a recent Interview.
It’s a Tempest in a Teapot, but it will be a Cat 5 Hurricane by the time it’s over.
Dr. Carson hasn’t had a good week with his Pyramid Theory, support of Obamatrade and this.
” and I never filed for bankruptcy, eminent domain was a good thing.” Carson is not the only candidate that swims in half truths. It is more important to find lies that really matter.
I think it was Rush today who said that it's the REPUBLICAN establishment that uses Politico to drop the dime on republicans. He said, if they have dirt, they leak it to politico. He used Herman Cain as another example.
“and I never filed for bankruptcy”
Trump never filed for personal bankruptcy, ever. It was 4 corporate entity bankruptcies that were filed by Atlantic Casino’s when the bottom fell out of the real estate market and many real estate ventures filed bankruptcys, including most of the Atlantic City casinos.
Trump offered the one lady holdout a lot of money to move, but she was holding out for even more. Trump gave up and the lady ended up having to sell anyway for a lot less money than Trump offered her, so her holding out for bigger bucks failed miserably. Trump made the right business move at the time.
Trump didn’t lie on either matter. But Ben Carson is lying, as you will find out, sooner than you want to know.
Bankruptcy personal or by proxy, same same.
And the cover story you quote was NOT an eminent domain case. Her property was not seized and her loss is not the same as the eminent domain cases Trump was asked about, that he was not a part of, but it is always about Trump.
