Last week, Joe Scarborough predicted he would "get in trouble" for calling John Harwood's biased performance as debate moderator "embarrassing." On today's Morning Joe, Mika Brzezinski tried, in what seemed perhaps to be a pre-arranged mea culpa, to force Joe to say "I really respect everyone I work with." Joe didn't play along with the script but did ultimately mutter "of course I do" before quickly moving on. So was this something the MSNBC suits cooked up? Had Joe agreed to mouth the words Mika fed him, only to clam up when the cameras came on?

Joe was right the first time, Harwood’s performance was biased and embarrassing. It wasn’t only the insulting comic book villain question to Trump, but when Rick Santelli was questioning and the economy was criticized, Harwood suddenly jumped in out of place like he was Obama’s spokesman.

If Mika refuses to give Banjo Boy any more pickle tickles IOT force him to say something, she’d better watch, lest she end up as dead as a Scarborough staffer.

Just tossing this out....the future NBC/Telemundo debate is on hiatus..not definitely cancelled..thought I can see how Trump, now that he’s acting alone, would allow for the Telemundo guy..the one who Trump tossed out of an event..to be on the panel..but if NBC is trying to make peace with the GOP..could they offer Scarborough as the moderator? Would it work?
Harwood has long been an administration cheerleader on economic issues. You can always count on him to spout the party line and attack anyone who questions the direction of the economy. He is a political hack of the first order.
