I break the anti-Trump groups down two into two categories:
1. Those that are jealous because he’s very, very wealthy. Instead of saying “Hey, he did it, that can inspire me to do something too.”, they’ll kvetch and turn green because he’s got more wealth than they can imagine.
2. Alpha widows/cat ladies. They can’t cope with the fact that the man’s had trophy wife after trophy wife after trophy wife. He’s an Alpha, he can (and does) do that.
So jealousy, whether over his wealth or his Alphaness, is what drives the drivel. What else can it be? For all of the clamoring about “We need a kiss ass ass kicker in there!”, well, here’s one on a silver platter, but he’s still not good enough? Please. The envy shines through.
And the only reason Carson gets any attention is because he’s black, period. I’ve watch him and listened to him and he comes across as not even close to POTUS material at best and borderline ignorant at the worst. And spare me the “Oh, he’s a doctor.” crap; there are >>MANY<< stupid doctors out there.

Look at all of his kids. Well behaved. No drugs, booze etc. Well adjusted, and prosperous is what they are. Yeah, THIS matters.
