Thanks Clintonfatigued.
Shoulda known it was Stumpy McHitler. I wasn’t going to listen to a 6-minute rant from the most corrupt officeholder in the state of KY, who should’ve gone to prison a decade ago. He was the mastermind behind the coup d’etat of Fletcher’s Administration.
Good point. My favorite media double standard is Tim Scott. If had an "D" next to his name, I guarantee you the leftist media would be having orgasms over his appointment and subsequent election in his own right as U.S. Senator from South Carolina -- talking about how "historic" it is and what a wonderful sign of progress it is that a black man wins a Senate seat in the deep south. But since he has an "R" to his name, their response is "Tim who?"
And speaking of ignoring election results, has anyone seen the neo-confederates on FR lately? If you go back a few weeks ago, they were all over the Matt Bevin threads to call him a "gutless coward" and "RINO traitor" who "just lost the Governor's race". Since his victory, I haven't heard a beep out of the oodles of Bevin bashers on FR.
It's also worth noting that Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham were on the same ballot last year, since Scott had to be elected to finish the term he was appointed to and Graham was up for his usual re-election.
While both won, the black conservative took a far larger share of the vote than the white RINO.
In racist South Carolina, of course.
More about Jenean Hampton.
Governor Matt Bevin can be forgiven for failing to ditch Mitch in 2014.
“The Tea Party scored a historic win in Kentucky. She could be a rising star, and a target for the Mainstream Media.”
Tea Party candidates have won before, despite the media, so no reason why they can’t again, especially in Kentucky now.
“neo-confederates on FR”: A few years back, one of these brainiacs was trying to (in what he calls his mind) make a ¿point? and demanding to know what I pay for property taxes.
Dafuq?
The neo-Rebs aren’t exactly bursting with intelligence. This particular Reb’s state has a RAT governor & 2 US Senators, so whatever ¿point? Johnny Reb was trying to make, wasn’t.
Heh. I had one that was trashing northerners for all "marxists elected up in yankeeland", when I pointed out his own "conservative" state (Virginia) just elected an all socialist Demonrat government and two socialist Demonrat U.S. Senators. (I also get the same BS from protestant freepers who LOVE to trash Catholics for Pope Francis, when their own denominations elected leaders that are as just as bad or even more leftist).
He quipped back that "you know damn well NONE of those Democrats would be in power today if the south had succeeded during the War of Northern Aggression"
So yeah... if we had only let treasonous, 100% Democrat Party southern governments win, they wouldn't be electing treasonous, 100% Democrat Party southern governments today.
Makes perfect sense!
I think we’re talking about about the same life form.
There are neo-Rebs that are 1000000% RAT.
That stubborn fact that the South was RAT back then hasn’t escaped their DNA.
But I've seen several who trash any candidate with an "R" next to their name and cheer on the election of any southern RAT, because it "teaches the GOP a lesson". They admit they despise the GOP, but claim to be members of a "third party".
I remember we got one Dixiecrat zotted on here when he openly admitted that he was supporting Max Cleland. He tried to backtrack after the rest of the thread reacted in outrage, but it was too late.
I love the delusional arguments they come up with to justify their "conservative" family electing RATs for over a century after the civil war. Numerous neo-confederates on here will swear up and down that the south was being "conservative" by giving FDR and his socialist New Deal policies 90% of the vote.
By “third party” they really mean their collective brains are in their “third input”.
I know who you’re talking about, I hate that guy.
Yeah, he’s got a lot of fans.
A-wipes like him make me happy that Sherman did his thing and Reconstruction was so harsh.
