Dennis has a good mind. He may not always get it right in line with Conservative values, but he comes pretty darned close.

Dennis is spot on.
When each of my kids was ~14 months I did a gender function check. IMO this was the important age when transitioning from generic baby toys to gender-specific toys.
I put the kid in the front of a Wal-Mart cart. They were taken down the toy aisle of the opposite sex first, then their own gender toy aisle to gauge their reaction and asses their ‘gender identity’ -a big worry for dads nowadays. Both of them registered disinterest, even disgust (daughter) in the opposite gender toy aisle and overwhelming joy and attraction in their gender toy aisle. They passed with flying colors and got a toy to boot. They still get a kick out of the story.
Their mother just couldn’t understand it at the time. Her response was “How do they KNOW”?

When I lived in Los Angeles I would listen to Dennis occasionally. His main problem is he is too nice of a guy, and is puzzled by outright evil. This causes him to get it wrong sometimes.
