On November 2, The Daily Beast pointed to recent statements from President Obama and Hillary Clinton regarding the implementation of Australian-style gun confiscation and suggested “civil war could erupt on American soil†if any administration actually tried to confiscate privately owned firearms.
The Daily Beast theoretically agreed that “confiscation on a massive scale†may be “the only way to solve American gun violence,†but they pointed out that it was not realistic and suggested Hillary risks causing irreparable divisions by talking about confiscation then mocking gun owners as conspiracy theorists waiting for “black helicopters†to come take their guns away.
According to The Daily Beast, confiscation was workable in Australia because there was no Second Amendment and the government only had to take 650,000 guns. That is a far cry from the “350 million†believed to be in Americans’ hands.

But even more important than the number of guns is the depth of American “devotion†to them. And The Daily Beast observes that it is this devotion–this dedication to the philosophy and tradition underlying the right to keep and bear arms–that turns the mere mention of confiscation into something that could literally rip the country apart.

If our government is indeed supposed to be “Of the People, For the People and By the People, then WE The People of the United States are not about to tolerate the notion of gun confiscation for one minute, and any attempt by the federal jackboots to take our guns WILL be result not our reaching for the soap box, or the ballot box, but for the AMMO box.
Simple as that.

I think it’s still understood even by the evilest of the stupid; try massive gun confiscation and it will be on. At that time assets will be preserved and liabilities will be eliminated. And one understands whether they will be viewed as an asset or a liability.
The scenario has been projected enough for the understanding to be there.

I know what you’re saying ..... and not a single person I know with guns (hunters, recreational shooters, etc. - all have multiple guns) will give them up willingly. We’ve all talked about it.
True story - the night before election day when Obama was first elected, I was sitting there watching TV (ugh) and thinking “there is NO way a guy named Barack Hussein Obama” will be elected president”. Boy, was I wrong. I never thought sodomite ‘marriage’ would be something a president/SCOTUS would endorse, much less light up the “People’s House” in rainbow lights. I never thought we’d see such a thing as Obamacare where people are mandated by law to buy something they don’t want & many can’t afford - and penalized if they don’t. I never thought I’d see an anti-Irael/Christian in the WH who sold out Israel & America to Iran. I never thought I’d see a ‘commander-in-chief’ so deliberately set out to undermine if not destroy the American military. I never thought I’d see a president/AG so deliberately set Americans against each other & foment a race war. There’s a lot I never thought would happen in THIS country. Now Obama is talking about defying the courts on his illegal alien EO & going around Congress on Climate issues. Never say never .... if he wants to come after guns, he will. Do I think he will? If he thinks he can.

That’s the sad thing. A person who has no understanding of the American public might think he could really be successful at circumventing yet another part of the constitution. Barack Obama has no idea of the wrath that CWII would bring. Once it starts it won’t end at guns. It won’t end until the constitutional republic has been restored and it won’t be pretty.
Much of the US does not have actual 2A rights, they have privileges doled out at the discretion of the ruling class.
Whether and to what extent we have confiscations is directly related to how blue the country becomes.

Like other issues they presume to comprehend... Liberals’ original and basic understanding is flawed to the point that nothing they think, say or propose, as a result is thinkable or workable.... it is ALL generated by a baseless, infantile and rabid level of emotion ... and it never gets past EMOTION.
EMOTION stunts objectivity ...it's the reason that children, drunks and mentally challenged people are not be regarded as competent or reliable.

Such a different Country in, in such a short time...
So the question in my mind is; When they come for your neighbor’s guns, will you help defend him? Or wait until they come for yours?
Didn’t you hear about the gun confiscation in NOLA after Hurricane Katrina?
No one, that includes the States, the feds, the NRA; I mean no one. No one knows for sure how many guns there are in this country.
Even without armed revolt, it is a physical impossibility to take away every gun. It is just not possible to find them all.
Even if they think they have confiscated every gun imaginable, gun violence will still continue because it is a criminal matter, not a gun related matter.
Criminals are the violent ones, not the guns.
The lefties themselves, that includes the Uniparty, cannot see this because they are criminals themselves which is exactly why they have no problem skirting the 2nd Amendment, border laws, or whatever.
Not the sort of thing that should be “toyed” with.
