Never been a big fan of the .40 but if I could get one through the CMP....
I have a Baretta 96 in .40 and am quite well pleased with the performance. Althought I prefer my .45 the .40 has similar ballistics and was to by the hybrid between the 9mm and .45.
Wait, scratch that... lost them both in a rather sudden and tragic boating accident.
I made up my mind long ago that I’d never own a 40 caliber. I’ve got everything else pretty much but I just don’t need a round bigger than a 9mm and smaller that a 45 Auto or 45 Colt....(and yes, I know all the arguments about how 40s are better). I just never did want to compete with the cops when the ammo shortage hit.
Sorry. You'll have to settle for a M1911A1.
