“inaccurate”?
I don’t argue balistics. To each his own. But I have never seen any evidence that the .40 is inherently innacurate. I’ve shot groups with my XD 40 that are almost as tight as those from my Ruger MK target pistol.
I used to own two “forty’s” and I couldn’t keep my groups together after 2 shots. Two friends of mine had similar experiences and traded in their 40’s like me.
Any high pressure round like 40 & 5.56 is going to make it much harder to stay on target for most people after a few rounds. It’s why I’d rather shoot a 44 special over a 44 magnum.
But like you said “to each his own”. Some people don’t have issues with it.
