A new advertisement for ...Ted Cruz (R-TX) highlights Cruzâ epic woodshedding of the leftist media for its bias on display during the CNBC GOP Presidential Debate...The ad shows the record-setting positive reaction to Cruz during the debate, and the robust favorable review on Twitter during and after the debate by nationally-known conservative radio hosts, television personalities, and writers of top-tier media outlets. [CRUZ AD AT SOURCE]
Titled, âWhen the Media Attacks, Ted Fights Back!,â the ad shows video where Cruz goes on the offensive against the left mediaâs bias on display during the CNBC debate between the Republican presidential candidates. One candidate after another was asked agenda-driven questions that were biased and demeaning. When the time came for Cruzâs turn in the barrel, he turned the table and eviscerated the moderators from the CNBC panel...
.....The ad then shows conservative media responses from nationally known conservatives including Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Hugh Hewitt, Mark R. Levin, Brent Bozell, and Breitbart Texasâ Lana Shadwick.
âBOOM. Ted Cruz Eviscerates Left Media in Debate,â Shadwick tweeted, attaching her Breitbart Texas article bearing the same title as her tweet. Her tweet appears at about the 56 second mark in the ad video above.
Beck tweeted, âNow I know what a Cruz missile sounds like. (Ted takes on the MSM).â Hannity tweeted at Laura Ingraham and Ted Cruz saying â@tedcruz absolutely nailed it.â Hugh Hewitt tweeted, âI think @tedcruz is winning millions of votes right now.â Bozell brought it home tweeting, âCruz just hit it out of the park. CNBC has no idea what just hit it.â Mark R. Levin retweeted an article titled âTed Cruz Smacks Down Biased Moderators,â adding âAmen!â
During the Fox News Channel post-debate coverage, pollster Frank Luntz said Cruzâs response to the moderators received a record-breaking 98 percent response.

Well, about time that ONE candidate had the guts to take on the Pravda media on behalf of conservatives. Thanks Ted, what a guy.

Take on the media on behalf of all conservatives but anyone who has been paying attention knows he's been doing it all along.

Great ad.
Too bad they didn’t put it on YouTube. Or at least provide enough bandwidth so it would be watched uninterrupted.

Don’t think because he blasted the mods that anything will change with the media. Not one iota will change.

Oh bull. Trump has been calling them out since he entered the race. He blasts them at every rally.

You're correct, Trump has called them out frequently ... for some peculiar reason Ted Cruz's rebuttal had a special power to it (who knows why) that seems to have ignited an atomic bomb ...
"If" ... "If" ... the GOP candidate field has it's (own) debate with Limbaugh, Hannity, Levin and Steyn ...
then HISTORY gets changed ... forever.
BTW ... I would recommend that Sarah Palin, Allen West ... and Jim Robinson be on the panel as well ...

B.S.! Trump is all sizzle and no steak. At some point this Trumpoonery-Buffooney needs to end. Trump has not spoken one word extolling the virtues of individual liberty. He is in the back pocket of the gays and embraced the infamous Kelo decision.
Have we heard anything from Trump that resembles this Margaret Thatcherite gem:
“Remove a man’s freedom and you dwarf the individual, you devalue his conscience, and you demoralize him.”
Instead all we hear is it will be “so big/so great/so wonderful/so fantastic/” rhetorical nonsense

How about Newt? He could do it.
To: Patton@Bastogne
Because he did it while defending the others?
Because he did it without coming across as a pompous, narcissistic a**hole?

The only way this would be worth anything is if the questions were real questions with real follow ons. Having these moderators ask the candidates “softball” or “red meat conservative” questions would be no different than what the Dems do. Ask Carson to do the math on his tax plan, ask Trump about specifics, ask Cruz about TPP and his position on H1B increase, etc., etc.

Agreed...keep Rush, Hannity and Steyn out of it. Have it be neutral or right leaning people, perhaps faculty from conservative colleges (Hillsdale, etc.)?

Man, about two months ago I asked the question on this site why we couldnt see a debate where Rush, Hannity and Levin were the moderators and I got a little heat about it.
**Nah, it'll never be allowed**
**The RNC has to sign off on all the debates**
I also said the debate needed to be held at a conservative college. I was thinking Hillsdale, but any good non-left leaning school would do.

You know, here's the advantage of having Rush, Levin, Mark Steyn ... as well as others such as Allen West, Sarah Palin, and Jim Robinson ...
Donald Trump has made the GOP Presidential Debates a "must see" media entertainment event, where literally millions of non-conservatives have watched ... because of Donald Trump ...
So ... from that perspective, what about the MSM inspired perceptions of conservatives, especially Rush Limbaugh ?
I propose that the "event" have (an auxiliary goal) of showing Rush Limbaugh in a positive light, and NOT the white racist Neanderthal that's the MSM has demonized him to be.
Dittos for Sarah Palin.
Dittos for Free Republic (Jim Robinson).
Example questions that these folks could present that would give Millenials, Non-Conservatives, etc. a fairer picture of the modern American Conservative political movement:
1) Rush Limbaugh ... focus on the "real unemployment rate" and that 51-percent of ALL American job holdres make less than $ 30,000 each year ... that's "kind", "compassionate", and an issue that Millenials UNDERSTAND ...
2) Allen West ... focus on harsh reality of "Islamic Jihad in America" especially vis-a-via the 200,000 Syrian-ISIS "refugee-terrorists" that Obama-Kerry want to import into America ...
3) Jim Robinson (Free Republic) ... focus on Obama's Internet censorship proposals ... and how it hurts the FREE SPEECH of Millenials ...
4) Sarah Palin ... focus on Obama's Foreign Polcy debacle(s) ... and how they hurts the SAFETY of Millenials ...
5) Mark Levin ... focus on Obama's raping of the U.S. Constitution ... and how it threatens the LIBERTY of Millenials ...
6) Marcus Luttrell (NRA Advocate) ... focus on Obama's raping of the U.S. Constitution ... and how it threatens the Second Admendment Rights of Millenials ...
