"Real conservatives don’t vote for someone who somebody thinks “is the only one who can win”.

We vote for the one who is the most consistently conservative and has a past record to prove it."

I've been told here that Cruz's problem is he's too conservative. I've also been told that the only principle that matters is winning.

Anyone who wants to can throw themselves off that cliff---again---but I'll be damned if I'm going along with them. I'm sticking with Cruz.

Some of us never learn, despite the numerous past examples available to us, that the only way to win is to nominate a solid conservative.

Cruz can’t get over 10% among republican voters.
How is he going to win in general with Rats and Indies voting? Do you seriously think Cruz’s oratory will transform the Rats into constitutional conservatives? Dream on! Yeah, I know reality is a bitter pill to swallow.

Catherine, a good response to those who say Cruz is too conservative is to ask them if they think that the founding fathers were also too conservative. Cruz’s beliefs are pretty much in line with those who wrote the Constitution. Ask them if they think that the Constitution is just too conservative for the American people?
