Fox Business Network Won’t Give GOP Candidates Opening Statements at Next Debate
Mediaite ^ | 10/30/15 | Josh Feldman

Fox Business Network is hosting the next Republican presidential debate, and today the network sent out information to the candidates about the format.

The New York Times obtained the memo, and right off the bat FBN is doing away with opening statements.

-snip-

FBN will have an undercard debate as well––moderated by Trish Regan, Sandra Smith, and Wall Street Journal Washington Bureau Chief Gerald Seib––before the big 9 pm primetime debate on November 10th, moderated by Maria Bartiromo, Neil Cavuto, and WSJ Editor-in-Chief Gerard Baker.

Moderator Gerard Baker is a condescending foreigner who isn't an American Citizen so he can't vote. He should be dumped immediately and should not be moderating a U.S. Presidential debate. He's also the same guy who collaborated with Karl Rove on his pre-Fox debate WSJ Op-Ed hit on Trump.

I can’t see why this is anything to agonize over.

Openings statements mean the talking heads aren’t on camera

The only thing exceeded by the ego of a politician is that of a telejournalist

How about they dump the debate then? I think they are trying to pick a fight with Carson and Trump. They want to play a game of chicken and honestly they hope Trump doesn’t show up.

They’re trying to get Trump to threaten pulling out. They’ll say go ahead and will make Trump look bad.

Opening statements are a waste of time at this point. If anyone wants to know more about the candidate, they can go to their website.

I don’t intend to give this debate any audience.

I’ve had enough of this already.

I know who I am for, and who I am not for.

I’ve had enough of the media.

Well Fox is no surprise. The damn debates with republicans who've had the most, are ALL about the Moderators!
These show-boats want their claim to fame about their snarky and offensive selves.
No Substance just a different panel!

why can’t the candidates decide what and who they want. They are grown people who want to be president.
I’m pretty sure they can make a decision.

The debate is being scripted by Gerard Baker and Karl Rove. Jeb will have all the questions in advance.

My days watching Fox are over. Drudge, FR, WND, CNS, and IFI are my usual go to’s.

If FOX screws up ala CNBC, more will see their leftist GOP-Establishment bias.

This could be another nail in their coffin.

Would love to see OANN become more dominant.

He11, all it will be is Cavuto interrupting all of them anyway.

I don't know how anyone can agree to go on that clowns show. I'd love to see one of his "guest" just stand up and walk off the set when he starts interrupting everyone. Leave the fool sitting there and let him interview himself.

Bet he'd interrupt himself.
