“I thought it was Trump, Cruz and Rubio?”
Can you please explain why? I’ve heard that but just don’t get it.
You know I’m in for Trump, but debates are not his strength. He did ok, but nothing like Cruz and Rubio. And I despise the little Rubamnesty but have to admit he was pretty good. He does speak well, unfortunately.
That was my take. Debates just aren’t Trump’s strength, so as long as he doesn’t stumble, I’m happy.

Yeah, he’s not in the same debate mold as Cruz or Rubio. Yet watching that clip of the opening “clown” comment, the guy basically made all his points-—”You’re going to build a wall” (Trump, “Yes.”), “you’re going to deport 11 million illegals” (Trump doesn’t say anything-—why argue with nonsense), “you’re going to cut taxes” (Trump, “Yes”), . . . then he goes to the clown comment. Except everybody already heard much of Trump’s agenda and said “YES!” Who cares what this retard says after that?
Cruz got up there and told the audience what Trump has been saying and does say in all of his rallies and interviews about the media since he got into the race.. In EVERY rally and interview Trump states just how dishonest the press is and how they slant their reporting to suit their bias and gives detailed examples.. he’s the only candidate that has done that.. In fact he’s done it in every debate so far
Well when you are the front runner you don’t have to win the debate you just have to not screw up. Trump did not screw up. So his poll numbers are not going to slip.
Cruz will come up and I would say that Rubio will continue as a distant third but Trump seems to be going for the kill shot today with his interview on Breitbart. Some stuff I did not know about Rubio’s H1-B visa bill and his lack of support for the fired Disney workers. Its all negative and refutes some of Rubio’s statements from the debate last night.
Personally I think this will quickly shake out into a 2 man race with Trump and Cruz. Some of these guys will hang around but they will have no effect on the race due to such low poll numbers.
Trump is the reason the rest of the pack finally grew a set and faced down those mods last night. I think they feel braver with Trump up there.

Yeah, I didn’t think Trump won the debate, but he’s too popular to have it tank him. his strengths lie elsewhere.
I hope Rubio doesn’t last. he may speak well, but is oh so pro-amnesty.
LOL, i’d love to go one of his rallies. I think he’s even pointed out the press covering his rallies at times.
