That was my take. Debates just aren’t Trump’s strength, so as long as he doesn’t stumble, I’m happy.
Yeah, he’s not in the same debate mold as Cruz or Rubio. Yet watching that clip of the opening “clown” comment, the guy basically made all his points-—”You’re going to build a wall” (Trump, “Yes.”), “you’re going to deport 11 million illegals” (Trump doesn’t say anything-—why argue with nonsense), “you’re going to cut taxes” (Trump, “Yes”), . . . then he goes to the clown comment. Except everybody already heard much of Trump’s agenda and said “YES!” Who cares what this retard says after that?
Cruz got up there and told the audience what Trump has been saying and does say in all of his rallies and interviews about the media since he got into the race.. In EVERY rally and interview Trump states just how dishonest the press is and how they slant their reporting to suit their bias and gives detailed examples.. he’s the only candidate that has done that.. In fact he’s done it in every debate so far
