The fast-food breakfast wars are upon us.
With McDonald's starting all-day breakfast, Burger King responding in kind, Wendy's flailing in the breakfast arena, and Taco Bell revamping its morning menu, the competition is more intense than ever.
But in the midst of the battle, some weaknesses are rising.

HA!!
Ham and eggs, chopped, was always my favorite C-rat. With a B-3 unit, but you had to trade for that, because ham & eggs came with a B-2.
What ever that's supposed to be, my guess is that it's something you would hit ...
I've tried being lazy, and just put a slice of butter before the egg, DOESN'T work! At least for me, I'm using one of those square Teflon / aluminum flat pans, when using the egg mold(s). Personally I prefer the butter method because of taste.
I encountered some of those in the Mobile area. They are about like Waffle House. Those places and other similar chains and one-offs are the heirs of the diners of the 40s and 50s. I was in one, it was a Huddle House, I think, in Florala that even had juke box terminals in the booths.
Since you mentioned spinach...
There is one fast food chain no one has even mentioned and they have my favorite breakfast (hell, had it for lunch today): Subway.
Flat-bread (wheat, if available), egg white, bacon (or ham, steak), pepper jack cheese toasted, with tomatoes, green peppers, onions, banana peppers, olives, a few jalapenos, AND add spinach. Finish with a small bit of chipotle southwest dressing.
All for $3.50. Satisfaction and energy without the heaviness.
But damn do I love the occasional Waffle House/IHOP visit.
Why not just go with the rough fried egg edges?
And two eggs.
When the Wendy’s around here were making breakfast, they were outstanding. Far and above everyone else. Real eggs, they sprinkle a little pepper on them. And their potatoes were wonderful.
Eh...it's not that big of a deal. I'm not OCD or anything. I just don't like the egg flopping out all over the edges.
Like I said earlier....it's not the appearance, it's the taste I haven't been able to replicate. And, as had been also suggested....my tastebuds may be broken.
“And two eggs”
Oops! (slapping myself in the head) ;’)
