SAN DIEGO - A Harbor Police officer fatally shot a man near a Point Loma hotel late Tuesday night after the officer spotted the man peering into cars in a nearby parking lot and the two struggled over the officer's gun, a San Diego police homicide lieutenant said.

After getting out of his car, the officer was "immediately attacked" by the man in the hotel parking lot, Rorrison said.
The officer was able to stand up and, as the suspect continued to fight, he fired his gun once, hitting the man in the torso. The man who was killed has not been identified.
Rorrison said he was black and in his 30s.

“struggling over a gun” to me does not sound unarmed.
Unless the gun was in the thug's hands (and it wasn't) the ferals will say he was unarmed.
Let’s see if the perp had a long rapsheet. That is why it is necessary to wait at least 24-36 hours before writing a major story about this type of incident.

When a black tries to wrest away a cops gun the new Obama rules clearly state the cop’s obligated to respectfully ‘axk’ the black to stop it.

I am sure, according to the Just-Us Department, the answer to that will be yes. As bad as crime is getting, I can see why cops don't even want to get out of their cars anymore. They think they will be featured on You Tube later on that day.
Also, the cop should offer the black guy an ice cream.

The young aspiring rap artist wasn’t grabbing for the cop’s gun, he was reaching to pull up his falling pants and yelling don’t shoot.
Just north of me here in northern NJ, we’ve had two police shooting of blacks (by white cops); nothing came of either of them. One was a perp shot in a stolen car trying to reverse into cops after crashing (a handgun was recovered in the car), the other was some crazy with a knife in the public library. The cops put down both animals, and despite feeble attempts by the families to piggyback their little angels’ deaths onto the those of Michael Brown and the ne’er-do-well in Staten Island selling “loosies”, nobody cares.
Our cops still do their jobs - in the towns where the residents pay for police protection. The cities have been simply written off.
Sounds justifiable to me going by the information at hand.
