I called mine and could tell from the gal’s tone of voice that my opinion is not in the majority.

I would go beyond that statement.

The country is gone...done for when almost every government official looks you straight in the eye and lies.

Every thing that the government has accomplished for the last 7 years has been exactly what those running in the last election promised they would prevent from happening, or at least try hard to prevent.

Lies, lies, lies.

Just send more money.

Nope.

Made my decision today and saying it three times is a charm ... never, ever voting again. Let ‘em get some other suckers but this old man is done.

So much for consideration of the taxpayers who fund this goat rodeo.

These people are despicable.

Since the RINO-controlled House has read the Constitution out loud at the beginnings of the last three legislative sessions, I’m very confident that the budget deal is fully compliant with Congress’s constitutional Article I, Section 8-limited powers. /sarc
“Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States.” —Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

Since one of the very few powers that the states have actually delegated to the feds, expressly via the Constitution, to regulate, tax and spend where domestic issues are concerned is the US Mail Service (1.8.7), I’m no longer concerned about the mail being delayed more than usual.

The final vote was 266 to 167, with 79 Republicans joining every Democrat in sealing passage. Ryan was among the supporters.

Explain to me how this is any different than the forty years under Democrat control, 1954-94.

With this action the republican party has essentially removed the debt ceiling, entirely. They have also just extended unlimited federal spending through a continuing resolution through March 2017.
