The girl openly and brazenly broke school policy. The teacher and the principal did try to handle it. The student rebelled; that is why the officer was called. She struck at the officer; that is why he reacted the way he did.
If the officer is fired, that school will have just lost its authority to conduct school. The teachers will no longer be able to enforce any discipline.

CORRECT. There is no social contract between parents and school authorities, and law enforcement. You cannot have community under those conditions.
