By “ranger”, do you mean a state government employee? I don’t get how his paycheck would be affected by this kerfuffle.

I just remember Mickey telling me that there was a new owner on the other side of the river, and that he was forcing him to keep the shooters turned parallel to his property. He told me that a lot of folks had chosen not to renew their range passes because of it.

Your info adds a whole ‘nother angle to the story. No matter. Sounds like it’s all good now.
