I was duly impressed with Gowdy's ability to keep the focus (as I am with all that can stay on point).
I'm not as sharp as I used to be at 68, but I hung on to every word and nuance from both sides AND the witness and imo, this was an immediate conviction if it had been a trial rather than a hearing

My first and favorite law professor many long years ago told me that a case is not usually decided on a one major point, but that the better offense or defense is to pile up as many points as possible even though some may be trivial they will count in the long run. I think that’s Gowdy’s goal.
