There is no movie worth 12 plus dollars
Much cheaper to see it on Netflix or some other service. And you don't have to put up with feral yoots yelling, people spilling popcorn and soda on you and disgusting, overcrowded rest rooms.

I purchased a low end HDTV model - no bells and whistles but OK that is 60" across for under $900. It makes it not worth seeing a movie in a theater with the rabble.
I honestly can't tell the difference of the quality of my LCD HDTV vs that of a premium version. I hooked it up to an old stereo system I had that played cassettes (long since broken feature) but the rest of that 1980s system is still a peach - awesome rich sounds.

Try the early showings.....no teeagers and few young kids. Although the elderly with hearing problems can be quite loud if they talk during the movie ; )

Exactly.
I haven’t been to a movie in a theater since “Gods and Generals”, about 10 years ago.

And you don't have to put up with feral yoots yelling, people spilling popcorn and soda on you and disgusting, overcrowded rest rooms. That's exactly why I don't go to the movies anymore unless it's a half empty theater. People simply don't know how to act anymore.
