Benghazi hearings show that Clinton lives in a bubble of deniability
The New York Post ^ | October 25, 2015 | Kyle Smith

In the 2008 campaign, Hillary Clinton asserted that she was the candidate best equipped to take a 3 a.m. phone call. What she didn’t tell us was that her number would be unlisted.

In the bipartisan grandstanding of the latest Benghazi committee hearing last week, the mostly inept Republicans managed to extract one piece of information that will stick: that our murdered Libyan Ambassador Chris Stevens didn’t have Clinton’s e-mail address.

Clinton stammered a bit as she confessed this, realizing that she was contradicting her earlier characterization of Stevens as someone she knew and respected, the personal anecdotes that suggested a close relationship and her statement that she had personally asked him to take the job.

Clinton family retainers like Sidney Blumenthal, a notorious conspiracist who was barred from working in her State Department by the Obama administration, were able to reach her whenever they pleased — but men and women on the front lines of dangerous places had to go through depressing, labyrinthine bureaucratic channels.

Tony Blair did a mea culpa this weekend to say that the war against Saddam was a mistake and led to the creation of Islamic State.

The war against Gaddafi was not in our interests yet Sid Blumenthal lobbied for it on behalf of some unknown entity. It certainly has led to instability in the region and his murder was a war crime for which Hillary Clinton once boasted personal responsibility “WE came, WE saw, HE DIED!!!”

“Why isn’t Chris Stevens a gay cause celebre?”

In the leftist pantheon, Islamists outrank gays. Heck, even “liberal” women don’t count to the left if the issue is the rights of women vs. supporting Islamism. Ever notice how hostile the leftists are to any mid-Eastern liberal woman who advocates reforming the Muslim world? The Marxists deeply hate such women because Islamic movements are allies in destroying the West. Likewise, if there is ever a conflict between gays and Islamists, and this is inevitable as the West imports more and more Muslims, you will find that the left will very quickly marginalize gays and anything the Islamists do against gays will either be ignored or excused by the left.

The problem here is that Hillary Clinton's State Department was being used for a covert CIA operation.

The Republicans on that committee have all known about it for years. The entire U.S. government -- including Congress -- was complicit in it.

The GOP presidential candidates know about it, too.

There's even compelling evidence that the U.S. government was acting through back channels to ship arms to foreign operatives, and that the Clinton Foundation was the front for laundering the money to buy the military hardware from the U.S.

ROTFLOL---this gets the nom as the "NAILS-IT" Quote Of The Year:

KYLE SMITH/NYP: "2008 Hillary asserted she was the candidate best
equipped to take a 3 AM phone call. What she didn’t tell us was that
her number would be unlisted."

(Made with reference to Hillary's sworn testimony at the Benghazi
hearing that murdered Amb Stevens did not have her phone no.)

Hillary's audacious lies, obfuscations, and willful omissions of fact
were transparently self-serving and covered the gamut of official
govt activities that undermined US ntl security
:

She stammered a bit admitting her employee, Amb Stevens, had no way of reaching her.....realizing she was caught in a huge lie. She had earlier characterized Amb Stevens as "someone she knew and respected," relating personal anecdotes that suggested "a close relationship" and that "she had personally asked him to take the job."

===============================================

"Compassionate" Hillary shut out American men and women on the front lines of dangerous places like Libya. They had to wade thru red tape----and still could not reach Her Highness as the specter of terrorism loomed.

==================================================

Significantly, longtime Clinton errand boy, Sidney Blumenthal, was in constant contact w/ her — as Blumenthal pushed for all-out war in Libya to topple Khadafi. The "new" Libyan govt was Blumenthal's pathway to profit.

Americans were not told Blumenthal was the hired hand of businesses w/ Libyan interests. With the buck-raking Clintons getting a cut.

The double-dealing Clinton Foundation had hyped Blumenthal as their $325, 000 hire "to advance Bill Clinton's presidential legacy."

(waiting for hysterical laughter to subside)

And Caddell is a Democrat — Jimmy Carter’s pollster.

It’s reported that after the Reagan-Carter debate the week before the election, Caddell called the staff and said, “Get your resumes ready.”

I remember after that debate, I said we had just won the election — and it might be big. I sad that even then, the next day,the only two things people remembered were:
1. “Nuclear proliferation , Daddy” and
2. “Are you better off than you were four years ago?”

I may not always agree with Caddell, but he has very good political instincts.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_diplomatic_cables_leak

According to The Guardian, all the diplomatic cables were marked “Sipdis”, denoting “secret internet protocol distribution”, which means they had been distributed via the closed U.S. SIPRNet, the U.S. Department of Defense’s classified version of the civilian internet.[14] More than three million U.S. government personnel and soldiers have access to this network.[15] Documents marked “top secret” are not included in the system. Such a large quantity of secret information was available to a wide audience because, as The Guardian alleged, after the 11 September attacks an increased focus had been placed on sharing information since gaps in intra-governmental information sharing had been exposed.[14] More specifically, the diplomatic, military, law enforcement and intelligence communities would be able to do their jobs better with this easy access to analytic and operative information.[14] A spokesman said that in the previous weeks and months additional measures had been taken to improve the security of the system and prevent leaks.[14]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SIPRNet

The Secret Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNet) is “a system of interconnected computer networks used by the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Department of State to transmit classified information (up to and including information classified SECRET) by packet switching over the TCP/IP protocols in a ‘completely secure’ environment”.[1] It also provides services such as hypertext document access and electronic mail. As such, SIPRNet is the DoD’s classified version of the civilian Internet.

SIPRNet is the SECRET component of the Defense Information Systems Network.[2] Other components handle communications with other security needs, such as NIPRNet which is used for nonsecure communications, and JWICS which is used for Top Secret communications.

According to the U.S. Department of State Web Development Handbook, domain structure and naming conventions are the same as for the open internet, except for the addition of a second-level domain, like, e.g., “sgov” between state and gov: openforum.state.sgov.gov.[3] Files originating from SIPRNet are marked by a header tag “SIPDIS” (SIPrnet DIStribution).[4] A corresponding second-level domain smil.mil exists for DoD users.[5]

According to the Pentagon, SIPRNet has approximately 4.2 million users.[6] Access is also available to a “...small pool of trusted allies, including Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom and New Zealand...”[7] This group (including the US) is known as the Five Eyes.

SIPRNet was one of the networks accessed by Chelsea Manning, convicted of leaking the video used in WikiLeaks’ “Collateral Murder” release[8] as well as the source of the US diplomatic cables published by WikiLeaks in November 2010.[9]

Hillary claimed that couriers delivered things and that she went to meetings. Are there minutes from those meetings? Are there signed receipts of the documents she viewed and responded to by courier? Certainly those documents should be retained in an archive somewhere.

Now that you brought the GAY issue up.

How is it that Stevens was hand selected by Hillary?

Did they have clandestine motives before they opened that ambassadorship?

Once the motives & plans were in place, knowing it would be very dangerous, they (she and Obama) needed an expendable

Expendable aka GAY Chris Stevens

I say this not as a slam on Chris, but to say "they" (Clinton and Obama) thought the general populace wouldn't care if a GAY was killed or kidnapped, for that is how they think of us mean ole republicans. THEY THOUGHT WRONG.
