GOP presidential candidate Ted Cruz is known for his principled and articulate constitutionalism, like a modern-day founding father who Rush Limbaugh recently declared as clearly the most “anti-liberal” candidate in the race — a huge compliment. Cruz is a constitutional fighter, who turned off the entrenched establishment leeches in both parties, as well as the corrupt Obama sycophants in the mainstream media.
But one personality trait Cruz isn’t given nearly enough credit for is his sharp, witty and timely sense of humor, and that Reaganesque sense of humor was on full display in Iowa on Friday as he spoke at a townhall in Council Bluffs.
Ted Cruz first began by taking a shot at what he refers to as the “Washington Cartel” by joking that he’d spent most of the past week in Washington, DC, and that it was good to be back in America, i.e., Iowa.
Cruz moved onto a more serious tone, saying that whoever the next Speaker of the House is should be a “strong conservative and someone committed to honoring the promises that we made to the men and women who elected us.”
The senator from Texas explained that when the press didn’t like that answer, and continued to press him for a replacement for John Boehner (FOX News’s Bret Baier largely credited Cruz for bring down Boehner), he floated the name of constitutional scholar, best-selling author and conservative talk show great, Mark Levin.
He then went on to do an impersonation of Mark Levin, “The Great One,” in what he imagined Levin’s first confrontation with Surrender Caucus Leader “Obama’s Mitch” McConnell would be like, and it’s pretty funny. In fact, Cruz nails it!

For later. :-)
That’s what makes cruz so great. He is connected to our world. Most of the GOPe Rinos probably dont even know who Mark Levin is. But I’m sure they know what the New York Times says every day though.
Bttt
At least one FReeper has called Mark Levin GOPe because the Conservative Review Web site, of which Mark Levin is the Editor-in-Chief, gives Trump not-so-nice ratings, compared to Ted Cruz.
YES !!!
Check this out!
Cruz’s impersonation of Mark is at the 4:40 minute mark.
Ya just gotta love Ted!
"There, I said it!"
There are a lot of lunatics at FR who would say such a thing.
In fairness, I too am a lunatic, but would never ever take the name of Mark Levin in vain.
Can’t find it
I quit
Found it, but can’t get it to load ...
Ugh. I know Cruz is a good mimic. Want to take a look
video won’t play on my phone. require a direct youtube link or something...
yhello! yhello?
Thanks for posting.
Mark Levin is GOPe? ha ha now that's funny. As far as the ratings Cruz is a solid conservative and worthy of any conservative rating accolades and has never donated to the Clinton's.
Levin has worked his butt off to defend Trump and Trump’s supporters. Out loud. On his show.
