Bill Clinton was the President. Removing a sitting President from office could be traumatic.
Hillary Clinton has lots of paid helpers in the media, but putting her behind bars is only traumatic to her.”
That's what's been forgotten when people state, “Obama should have lost in 2012 but the people re reelected him.
Let's revisit that time.
Romney was a poor candidate who couldn't excite the base.
BHO actually lost votes from 2008. Just those lost votes didn't go to Romney.
A sitting president is very hard to remove. Even as bad as things were in the late 1970’s Reagan had to work very hard to convince people to remove Carter and even the polling didn't favor him till near the end.
Speaking of polling, one unexscapable fact remains. The public finds her dishonest. If the electorate decides you're a liar and everything you say is a lie, that is impossible to shake. Trust in the news is at an all time low. Lopsided right/wrong direction. The economy remains soft and alot of the ObamaCare difficulties that were hidden in 2012 are coming to pass now. A majority sees government corruption as the biggest problem facing the country. Whereas Bill was popular amongst the general electorate and had a big likability factor to get him out of messes, she doesn't.
She can win. But it isn't a foregone conclusion
In order to preclude future tragedies like Benghazi, an investigation must occur. This is not politics. This is working to preclude the murders of Americans overseas.
If, during the investigation, negligence or criminal actions are discovered, then the next steps are taken. Negligence can be handled judicially or non-judicially. A non-judicial action at this level could rise to impeachment. Judicial actions can be taken for instances of gross negligence (such as actions resulting in death) or criminal behavior.
The Democrats realize the serious consequences they face over the handling of Libya and Benghazi.
They are scared to death.
