But the GAO report found that so far, just $1.4 billion of that has been spent on IT projects, and a total of $3 billion has been “spent or drawn down,” though not all the spending is detailed.

That, then, leaves at least $1.6 billion unaccounted for. Yet only three states returned any portion of the money – a total of just over $1 million was given back.

“[T]he specific amount spent on marketplace-related projects was uncertain, as only a selected number of states reported to GAO that they tracked or estimated this information,” the report said.

“What is missing is the proof that diversions did or did not occur, and if so where,” he said. “IT costs are only part of the process. It could be legitimate, classic pocket lining at work – or some of both.”

The Federal government is absolutely out of control with nobody being help responsible for anything they do. Yes, but it has never been this corrupt, on all levels. To says “well it always been this way” really misses the enormity of the problem. The 900 hammer situation usually stems unique mil specs and go old corruption. What is going on now is far more insidious and ubiquitous throughout the federal bureaucracy and at every level.

Egged on by Pelosi, no one in Congress told Americans about Section 4002---which mandates an $8B untraceable fund to "promote" Obamacare (apparently b/c Boobamba had so little confidence in his signature legislation).

In 2010 Taxpayers are extorted $500 million, in 2011, $750 million, 2012, $1 billion, 2013, $1.25 billion, 2014, $1.5 billion and in 2015 and on, $2 billion........

Oh, I don’t dispute anything you posted! The money was nothing more than what we froze from them for terrorist activities . Now, we are returning this money to them (with a little vig for the politicians (I’m positive). But (supposedly) this shouldn’t affect the taxpayers. Actually, in a real world we should have frozen those accounts and given it to the American people.
