Our feral gubmint has been out of control for decades. I was on active duty in the 1970’s, big scandal then about $900.00 hammers the military was purchasing from a contracter.
Yes, but it has never been this corrupt, on all levels. To says “well it always been this way” really misses the enormity of the problem. The 900 hammer situation usually stems unique mil specs and go old corruption. What is going on now is far more insidious and ubiquitous throughout the federal bureaucracy and at every level.
