Has anyone heard the Trump prattle about he wants Indian , Chinese and other foreign grad students stay in the USA post-education and take American jobs, as it is currently so bad they can’t or don’t stay? This is indistinguishable from upping H1B visas. Let’s be intellectually honest and not flame Ted only. Examine Trump’s comments in debates and speeches. In one speech, his idea fell flat and the mostly blue collar crowd interestingly and noticeably sat on their hands....

but the document also called for raising the prevailing wage paid to foreigners on H-1B skilled worker visas and putting in place a requirement that employers hire American workers first - Trump’s immigration document.

“This is indistinguishable from upping H1B visas.”

No. H1B is a temporary visa tied to lower wages for the foreign worker. Its only purpose is to replace American workers with cheap foreign labor.

I think Ted and Trump have more in common than not.

What amazes me through this whole Position process is that anything they want to get done will have to go through the Congressional Filter where 90% of the Republicans are full of crap and 100% of Democrats are evil to the bone.

Everyone here acts like every proposal made by the potential Candidates for POTUS will be implemented. They forget that anything put forward will end up being sliced and diced thanks to “compromise” and the utopian thought of reaching across the aisle to people who wish Conservatives like us end up Imprisoned or Dead.

No matter who gets in, America as we knew it is lost. We may be able to resurrect some of our National Identity, but I hold out very little hope of that really happening.

Yes, let’s be intellictually honest. Tech PHDs from US Universities don’t take $25,000 H-1B drone jobs at Disney. We’ve got room in this country for PHD level smart people. It’s the third world’s dirt farmers and H-1B drones we don’t need.

Please do not put your lack of knowledge of PhD caliber people on display. For starters, they are not H1-B visa cheap foreign workers, majority of whom are computer programmers.

Trump wants to eliminate immigrants sponsored by relatives, who are majority under-educated, low skilled, non-English speaking, welfare dependent. Instead Trump wants to retain Ph-D’s in science & Engineering. Very very smart!
