He promised the speaker would not have 5 votes on the steering committee(?)

Maybe it’s not as good as they make it sound though.
The change he wants in the ‘vacate’ vote is to require a majority of the caucus- that’s why too high a bar. Though more than one Member would be reasonable.
Next session will have more conservatives, though perhaps a bare RINO majority, and his rule would encourage the RINOs to continue walking over the conservatives- which is the cause of their problems!
Paul Ryan’s word is not worth the air he used to give it. He is a liar and a cheat ... Once a liar, always a liar. I would not trust his word if God Himself vouched for the RINO bastard. FK Paul Ryan, and the whore he rode in on!
