Maybe it’s not as good as they make it sound though.
The change he wants in the ‘vacate’ vote is to require a majority of the caucus- that’s why too high a bar. Though more than one Member would be reasonable.
Next session will have more conservatives, though perhaps a bare RINO majority, and his rule would encourage the RINOs to continue walking over the conservatives- which is the cause of their problems!
Another thing Rush said was that the conservative group didn’t really care what Boehner’s position on issues was. They were upset because he was being a heavy-handed leader/tyrant.
