Can’t they just bring in some sniffer dog and track her down? If she’s just walking around....she can’t walk that far.
OOPS - that should have been from the security camera at the gas station - what with the timestamp.
Blurry, but maybe it might help if someone was there and saw something.
I thought that too at first. She’s been missing since the 10th...
I should have posted the first article as soon as I heard about it. I was afraid she was in the river. I hope not.
But I still should have posted it just in case.
My bad. :(
Prayer for your friends recovery
Thank you - he is actually related to her by marriage in his family.
Bro, that’s not your bad at all!!
Dont go down that road.
We’re all pretty smart on this board.
I think we all know that you could have posted it the second you heard, and it wouldn’t have changed a thing.
The only thing we can do now is pray for a miracle.
Prayers for her safety and well-being.
Thanks for those prayers guys.
I try to take action when it’s within my power to do so and perhaps achieve a better outcome.
Bothers me when I’m not quick enough. :(
//is postpartem the newspapers guess? familys guess?/
I suspect there is a record of treatment. I just had my first baby 5 weeks ago (my little miracle) and they are ALL over post partum depression. THere are info packets, you get asked questions about ‘baby blues’ at every appt, both OBGYN, and Pediatrician, you are given DVDs, a psychologist/psychiatrist visits you before you are released from the hospital, you are given or meet with a social worker. They watch you very closely and also inform family of symptoms and encourage you to get treatment. It isn’t the stigma it used to be, IMO.
It is almost annoying but necessary in many ways. Coming down off the hormones plus the stress of a baby is very taxing.
Was there fuel in the vehicle ? ....or mechanical trouble ? Did she just walk away from a operational / functioning vehicle ?
Sad deal....hope she’s found safe and soon....
BTTT ...
Sounds like it can only do some good and maybe avert a disaster out of ten thousand.
Just for that, it’s worth it.
Sounds like she just walked away. She tried to get a ride with an unknown truck driver before a gas station employee intervened, if I read it correctly.
and congratulations :) a new FReeper!!!
Prayers for the family. Has she ever had bipolar? If not, the postpartum could trigger that.. In my mom it was the prospect of me in the gulf warI.. She went over the edge suddenly. In a manic state, I have watched my mom walk miles. The same thinking that makes this woman think she should suddenly park, then hitch, then walk could energize her to walk tirelessly... My mom heard voices that asked her to do bizarre stuff and caused extreme paranoia.
When her meds were right she lived normally, but one day she just left our home, taken by the state, and no one knows where she is. Lucky for her the lovely state of North Carolina won’t even relay cards from her grandchildren.. For her own good.
I hope and pray this mom is found, just soon. A great doctor can help her.
If her husband is anything but supportive, it can be a living hell.
Overall I think it is good. And thank you, she is a dream come true.
Wow. Keeping your mom in prayer.
