Did you see Marty McFly and Doc Brown materialize today in a DeLorean car? Remember, today is October 21, 2015, the same day the two time travelled here in "Back to the Future II." If they did arrive today, I am sure they would be disappointed to see no hover boards. However, the good news for them is that they could easily conjure up a video of Marty McFly on a hover board simply by viewing the movie on a smartphone, a device absent from the movie.
Okay, your humble correspondent is a big fan of the "Back to the Future" series but I feel compelled to cast more than a bit of aspersion upon the veracity of "Back to the Future" writer Bob Gale who is claiming that the character of Biff Tannen was based upon Donald Trump despite the fact of no mention of this before Trump's presidential run. First let us analyze the claim made in the Daily Beast and then we shall see why it is probably not true.

I don’t know who the are but they’re kinda cute.
I’m sure there is a kernel- but only a kernel- of truth in this. That kernel is that Biff was a casino magnate in the second movie. And back in the late 80s any character who was a millionaire casino magnate was going to be based at least a little on Trump.
Pegged my BSometer. Bullshit is bullshit, case closed.
Hey Jeb, why don’t you make like a tree.....and get out of here.
He actually looked liked President George H. W. Bush.
McFly (M. Fox) is a shrimp. George the Elder was a tall man, taller than 6’1” Reagan.
Marty changed the future and wiped away the Cubs Worlds Series win.

Whatever! Dude needs to make like a tree and get outta here!
Was it his father, then?
And Al and Tipper Gore were the inspiration for Love Story.
Biff Tannen was a terrible character in the movie. He based that on Trump? Horse stuff.
To my knowledge Trump has never abused his wives, been a crook, or acted as the Tannen character did in the movie.
What a terrible curse it must be to have been born with a brain that thinks up idiotic stuff like this.
I once saw an interview with the guy who actually played the Biff Tanen part, and he said he based his performance and interpretation of the character on a bully he had to contend with in HIGH SCHOOL, which I’m sure reminded most of us of the same.
Insorfar as this bogus story, I’ll quote Biff: “Manure! I hate manure!”
That is typical dimocrat BS. Rewriting history isn't enough now they are rewriting their memories.
“Biff Tannen reminds me of Joe Biden.”
Are you really sure you didn’t mean to type ‘Hillarious Klintoon?’
This claim by Gale is probably bogus, but is it for this reason? Originally the film was not made with a sequel in mind, so would the script in 1980 have included the "alternate timeline" Biff from the second movie having the big casino released in 1989?
