What do you think it might be, drug money?
.
Trump and Fiorina are amnesty advocates, but they take the stealth path.
And Carson thinks we need to be nice to our illegal aliens.
.
Agreed.
And by participating in this kabuki political theater, RYNO now has political FAVORS to call in. “Look, I tried...” “I was bipartisan...Harry Reid even reached across the aisle to endorse me...”
Back to Ways and Means...and more back room deals. Maybe RYNO is looking towards 2020?
Marsha Blackburn or Daniel Webster?
why doesn’t that surprise me? RATS the whole lot of them!
REPORT: Freedom Caucus sees path to endorsing Ryan for Speaker

I’d “get behind” Ryan...
If there was a steep cliff in front of him.
Good riddance.
We RYNO on record REQUIRING 100% Republican Party unity behind him for him to GRACE the speakership with his presence. So I think he’s played this to get out of doing a job he really does t want, but at the same time garnering “favors” from party movers and shakers.
So. I guess that means his election as speaker is now assured?
Oh. And that motion to vacate the chair? Where is it?
What? Not even one “conservative” can gather up the testicles to introduce that one little motion?
Political shell game folks. And we’re the suckers who still play.
“
Matt Fuller @MEPFuller
Paul Ryan doesn’t get endorsement of House Freedom Caucus, but roughly 70% voted for him. They can re-vote. @rollcall”
Closer than I would have thought!
I guess I overestimated the danger of this going through but the prospect of Ryan getting in there really scared the hell out of me
Do any of the demands include a time frame for how long he intends to be Speaker? Does he consider this to be a life-time appointment?
He couldn’t have wanted the job or he wouldn’t have presented his list of demands in such a belligerent manner.
Good.
Boehner and Pelosi need to sit down.
I was just thinking today how much Lyin’ Ryan reminds me of Eddie Munster. Thanks for the pic to confirm the resemblance.
Troll, troll, troll, troll merrily down the way.
Mr. Speaker!: The Life and Times of Thomas B. Reed Simon and Schuster, 2011.
The history of the arcane machinations of the House are fascinating. That most of us can't understand the process is understandable.
Highly recommended.
Since he has repeatedly said exactly that, where's the surprise?
