I’m not surprised. He’s been here campaigning more than once. Big crowds.

Jeb needs to go on the attack NOW!

That should drop him a few more points.

LOLOLOLOLOL

Great job, Karl Rove. Get out some more of your gas bag nonsense! And make that face that shows you don’t know jack-squat.

I lived in Massachusetts for much of my life. Finally moved out of there last year and into the NYC metro area. Out of the frying pan and into the fire, so to speak.

Anyway, I was always annoyed to have Massachusetts completely ignored and disregarded by conservatives as a lost cause. There are many conservatives in Massachusetts and when I was up there, most of my friends and neighbors were conservatives as well. I remember my neighborhood being flooded with Republican yard signs at election time and the morning after we'd pull them all down and shake our heads at yet another Democratic sweep.

But it's the urban areas that do us in. Greater Boston, Fall River, Brockton, Worcester, Lowell, Lawrence, all Democrat strongholds with very high ratio of immigrants and they turn out to vote in droves. That's the difference right there. The GOTV is one thing Democrats do very well at. They drive around the cities picking up elderly people, take them to function halls for coffee and donuts and they tell them how the Republicans want to take away their Social Security and starve children (I'm only half kidding) and then they take them to the polling places. It's a machine.

Many from the comfortable suburbs, who would otherwise be inclined to vote Republican, don't even bother voting because they feel it's a lost cause. That always annoyed me greatly. I always made sure I got to the voting place, even though half the people on the ballot were incumbent Democrats that were unopposed. That always irritated me too. Why would the Republican party up there not even contest for these open seats?

It's not like we were getting blown out 90-10 either. Usually it's around 60-40 or 55-45 that the Democrat wins by. So winnable if the GOP made a sincere effort and energized the base.

I think Trump is the kind of candidate that can turn out enough of these otherwise apathetic voters to carry the state for the Republicans. After all, Reagan carried Massachusetts twice.

Past GOP-E candidates would sweep up states like Mass, but Trump is going to blown up their best plans.

We need to start a new party. As soon as the 2016 election is over, I say rebrand this baby along a Constitutional Republic line and tell the GOPe to go explective deleted itself.

Trump/Cruz 2016 could education the public about what that meant and why.

I want that ticket so bad...

Coming from California, I know exactly how you feel.

At least your state gets some attention from Republicans around election time.

We get absolutely nothing out here.

It has been since Reagan that anyone actually fought for the state. They concede it over and over and over.

55 electoral vote spot to the Democrats every four years.

He attracts the Perot voters, the Jesse Ventura voters... middle and working class people who find politics revolting and dislike and distrust career politicians.

I don't doubt that.

There is a quasi-conservative flavor of the Free Sh!t electorate, which thinks that we can have more jobs, lower taxes, increased Soc Sec and Medicare, cheaper and high quality healthcare, a much stronger defense, a balanced budget, and that Somebody Else (who is emphatically Not Them) is going to pay for it all.

Trump will get 99+ percent of that vote.
