As usual, Donald Trumps latest comments are rankling at least one of his opponents. When you talk about George Bush, Trump said on Bloomberg TV on Friday morning, I mean, say what you want, the World Trade Center came down during his time. Challenged by anchor Stephanie Ruhle, he added, He was president, okay? . . . Blame him, or dont blame him, but he was president. The World Trade Center came down during his reign. On Twitter, Jeb Bush called Trumps comment pathetic, sparking a back-and-forth between the campaigns on social media.

Oh, spare me—you seminar posters are out in force now, aren’t you?
Trump was absolutely correct re: Bush and also in his presumption that he’d have been a better and more proactive manager on the issue.
There you go again, just sure you’re scoring points, looking like a fringe guy with a tin can on the street.
When George W called islam a religion of peace, I knew we had just lost the battles to be fought in his term in office.
I’m quite certain that it does!
give it a few years to sink in
I’m not going to dislike somebody just because of something like that. Dana has said W was like a dad to her, so it’s an emotional thing.
I didn’t jump on the Hate Megyn Kelly Train either. I thought her questions would have been fine in a one on one interview, but not a 10 person debate. But Fox decided to make it a gothcha game to make the moderators the story. I also thought Chris Wallace was worse. I was even accused of being a Fox News paid shill over it, despite that I’ve been supporting Trump since he announced. Oh well, haters gonna hate.
I agree with that.
I wrote yesterday that some of the powers that be get complacent. They think they know everything, so why double check.
They should have double checked.
Just think of the epic threads you could start.........
Well done sir.....or well stolen.......
a bloody nose for starters...
im used to professional amatuers...
Queue the “I’m not saying it’s Aliens” guy. Something just ain’t right.
I have myself made many stupid comments. Usually the result of those wacky drinking games some of us sometimes play during debates.
LOL
Push come to shave, I’ve noticed most of the Trump detractors haven’t watched him. They can’t believe him so why watch.
That’s why they’re completely oblivious to the fact that he is the first guy since Reagan to sell Conservatism loudly to the public.
Sure some folks have essentially whispered it by comparison, but Trump is using a megaphone.
They don’t know this.
They in effect want to silence Reagan’s message to tens of millions of Americans who won’t hear it if not for Trump.
Strange lot these folks are, who claim to be Conservatives and seeking to destroy a once in three decades chance to turn this nation around.
Stop bragging, Mikey...you’re beginning to sound like Trump.
Good catch on that post. I agree with you. Strange indeed...
I have learned so much about Donald Trump since he’s been running. I did not know he was so interested in politics before 9-11 or that he realized what a danger illegal immigration was to us back then and before.
Although most of the 9-11 bombers entered the country during Clinton’s administration, GWB may have been less than vigilant about getting rid of them
GWB had just finished a grueling campaign and weeks of hanging chads when the attack happened.
I don’t think Trump should have made the statement because it gives ammunition to the dems. Trump is a good man, but he is not perfect and Trump people ... and I am kinda one ... should not think that pointing out his mistakes is Trump Derangement. Sometimes we need to grow up.
He wouldn’t like what he was seeing. That’s for sure.
