A Washington State high school football coach has defied the school’s orders to stop praying at midfield with his players after games, something the cast of The View discussed recently. Joe Kennedy, a football coach at Bremerton High School in Washington, has been praying at the 50-yard line since 2008, and is frequently joined – voluntarily – by players. The View host Raven-Symone tried a classic left-wing tactic to attack Kennedy, calling it “unfair” to kids who choose not to pray.
Her co-host however, former Full House star Candace Cameron Bure, gave a strong rebuttal and defense of religious freedom. Cameron Bure said that the separation of church and state “actually guarantees our free exercise of religion so that if it is voluntary, we are allowed to pray wherever we would like to.” She then responded to her co-host’s assertion that prayer is offensive, “If people would actually put more effort into prayer than to fight prayer, you would see a whole difference in this country to see that power of prayer.”
Bam! The crowd was cheering!

Which leads me to ask, how to “registered” home-schoolers deal with such a regulatory requirement?

They didn't even have to walk away. To join the others, they would have to walk toward them.
I am not sure how commong this is for Catholic High School football teams. But the local Catholic high school football team, of which I am an alumni, gather at mid field following each and every game with the coaches. They take a knee and say a prayer of thanks. But what is REALLY cool about it is that all are welcomed to join. And I mean ALL. Most of the time, whether playing at home or away, some members AND fans of the oposing team also join the congregation. The fans of our team wait eagerly for security to let them on the field to join the team in prayer.
A neighbor (and rival) asked me about this tradition the day after a game. I told them its been going on for at least 30 years. They thought it was pretty cool. Apparently, if you are not used to highschool kids being that enthusiastic to pray together, it is moving.

I have had so much sucess with Prayer that I cannot even begin to document it.
Hey, a lady at work got very nasty with me today. I apologized to her for the trouble she was having and she lit into me that it was her job and that I did not need to apologize. I was trying to soften her.
I am going to Pray on it. yeah I know I should give her a piece of my mind. It never fails the Praying. I rather call it Communing with God.

If both parties had the choice to exercise free will to best suit their own desires, then where was the unfairness?
