Yes, they are no leftist rag, but apparently don’t care for Trump.

That the admin was lackadaisical about it is not disputed.

To put up a minor defense for the pre-9/11 Bush Administration: Never in the history of this Nation has an incoming President been hampered by the opposing Party, and Media, to the point that it took quite some time for them to get their feet on the ground. Critical months were wasted. The coup that Gore, the Democrats, and the Media tried to pull off in Florida was nauseating, and borderline treason. This delayed the ability to bring the incoming Administration up to speed.
Of course, 'New Tone' George Bush didn't help matters out by not bringing these people to task (e.g., the outgoing Clintonites that trashed the White House computers should have been persecuted - not given a free pass under the claim that these were just 'pranks').

So sure, slow to come up to speed, but they were hampered by the in-house enemies in our Nation: the Dems and Media.

THIS IS ALL A DISTRACTION! Trump is using these and other issues to keep minds off the real issues.

That's absurd. Trump has been talking about all those issues. This is the media trying to paint Trump as nut based on things he didn't say. It all started as a response to Jeb's saying his brother "kept us safe". If Jeb had the smarts to say "after 9/11" Trump wouldn't have had an opening. What he did was brilliantly force Jeb to spend time defending W, when Jeb wants to paint himself as his own man. It's no accident Jeb has sunk to 4% in the polls since then.

Lou Dobbs, last night on his 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. program, quoted Donald Trump's prediction of an attack such as 9/11, I believe in 1999, based upon known facts at that time. Having predicted what was coming, from known facts, it would appear that the "Donald" clearly established some credentials on the subject.

Doesn't really establish credentials on the subject.

Most folks knew that at some point in time and place there would be an attack.

As somebody posted up thread, it's like predicting there would be another earthquake in California.

Accusing Bush of conspiracy and accusing bush of being negligent are not the same things, IBD

When has trump accused bush of engaging in a conspiracy? Provide the quote

All trump has done is suggest accountability . Bush was president. The buck stops at the presidents desk - unless you’re a liberal who doesn’t believe in the concept of accountability

A report published Monday by the Hispanic Council charges that Trump's presidential candidacy is helping the Democratic party by portraying the GOP as radicalized.

And IBD finishes this article with a totally objective and fair 'analysis' from the the Hispanic Council.

And people are actually taking this drivel seriously? The reasonably coherent have long since caught onto the tactics of the Trump trashers who put the most radical, absurd interpretation on everything he says.

Most have learned to recognize it and to ignore it.

That’s basically the same thing. There’s not a thread of Trutherism in it.

Trutherism is the belief that the government was in on 09/11. This would include Bush and other top level officials, because they would have to have been involved to pull it off.

These articles go nowhere near that topic, and yet that’s the implication. It’s smear tactics of the worst sort.

Trump told CNN on Tuesday, "George Tenet, the CIA Director, knew in advance that there would be an attack, and he said so to the president."

Trump has a semantics problem. It seems to happen a lot.

I don't think that Trump is trying to be a truther. But the problem is that Trump doesn't articulate the point well.

Trump should have said that "the CIA director knew there would probably be an attack at some unknown time and place".

Instead, Trump channels the truthers, the kooks and the Democrats by simply saying, "they knew", which leads the kooks to think that Bush was part of a conspiracy.

Bush was trying so hard to be a “nice guy” that his actions did contribute to the situation on 9/11. I don’t think he knew what or when in the way of an attack, but he did know the policies and personnel in place in the Clinton administration were very wrong. That the FBI and CIA had little to no communication due to Gorelick should have been rectified on day 1.

He would not even demand restitution for the damages to WH keyboards by the Clinton mafia. He did not show the strong back bone to undo Clinton’s messes. He was a great leader in the days after 9/11 and I appreciate how well he has always treated our military but he none the less left too many incompetent Clinton idiots in place.

I get the impression these writers simply write to fill the page. Making a truther out of Trump is going to take some twisting and Lord knows they’ll keep trying.

I’m wondering what Biden’s angle is, that is far more mysterious to me than injecting truther crap into Trump’s comments.

That’s basically what it comes down to: Bush simply afraid to take action lest he step on somebody’s toes.

Trump told CNN on Tuesday, “George Tenet, the CIA Director, knew in advance that there would be an attack, and he said so to the president.”

There is a conceptual difference between a non-specific attack and the 911 event. This writer knows that, which makes him a liar.

I think that Trump is suggesting that the Bush administration was barking up the wrong tree, to put it mildly. At least that is what some of the intelligence people are saying.

ANOTHER DESPERATE ATTEMPT FROM THE ESTABLISHMENT/GLOBALIST BUSH-BOT LOVING RATS

They say something Trump never said, and then they attack that very point. It’s called creating “The Straw Man” argument in order to make your opponent look bad. Even though your opponent never said that. That’s right another filthy lie from the Rat media.

When DUMB@SS JEBBY tried to EXPLOIT the tragedy of SEPTEMBER 11th, 2001 for POLITICAL GAIN by riding the coattails of his brother. Jebby claimed his brother kept us safe during his Presidency was another dumb@ss comment from Jebby that backfired in his face.

Now all the Bush-bots, in shear panic, like Dana Purina (yes I meant to spell her last name that way) are twisting everything in order to protect Jebby and attack Trump.

How can you vote for such a lying pathetic P.O.S. like Jeb Bush? The Bush family are Democrats with the Republican name.
